World Cup host city
Houston hosts seven matches at the air-conditioned NRG Stadium — five group games plus a Round of 32 and a Round of 16 knockout. The USA isn't playing here, but with Germany, Portugal, the Netherlands and more passing through, it's a deep, internationally flavored matchday slate in a city built for World Cup heat.

Official info →Take METRORail to the stadium
NRG Stadium sits right on Houston's METRORail Red Line — taking the train from downtown or the Medical Center beats fighting NRG Park traffic and parking on matchday.
Pre-book parking near the fan fest
For the EaDo Fan Festival, two nearby garages offer reasonable rates: Avenida North Garage (701 Avenida de las Americas) and Tundra Garage (1515 Jackson Street).
The dome beats the heat
Houston in June/July is hot and humid with afternoon storm risk, but NRG Stadium has a retractable roof and full A/C, so the venue stays comfortable regardless of weather.
Two airports, plan transfers
George Bush Intercontinental (IAH) handles most international arrivals; Hobby (HOU) is closer to downtown/EaDo. Both are a real distance from venues, so budget for rideshare or transit time.
